The owners are really helpful and try to fulfill all your wishes. The breakfast is included in the price which is amazing. They cook freshly every morning: you get some fresh bread, scrambled eggs, asian veggies (soo yummy!) and fresh fruits. The location is perfect if you wanna explore Valladolid by foot. Can only recommend this Hostel. Thanks again for the hospitality!
The hostal is run from an old cute couple from Taiwan. They take care of everything themselves, from breakfast to washing the sheets! Breakfast was delicious and homemade, rooms have fan and ac. We stayed in room 3, everything was clean and comfortable. There’s no kitchen but they let us use their fridge and eat in the dining area. The hostal is close to downtown, oriente/ado terminal and also to a big grocery store! Recommend
Lovely hostel/hotel run by the most friendly family. Really centrally located close to ADO/Collectivo and centre of town. We stayed in a private double room, which while basic was good given the price, had air conditioning which is definitely needed in Valladolid! The breakfast is great and unique, being Chinese in style, very tasty and a decdnt portion. We were sadly going to miss breakfast one morning because we chose to get the first collectivo to Chichen Itza before 7am (when breakfast starts). As we were walking out at 6:45am the owner called to us and had prepared us two packed breakfasts with a bottle of water for us to take with us! Fantastic service.
Strongly advised! One of the best value for money you can get. - Clean, brand new hotel (some parts still being built) safely tucked in a wide, calm backyard, run by a lovely and kind family. - Phenomenal location at short walking distance to practically all points of interest of Valladolod. - Fantastic breakfast included too! You find it on Booking as "Hotel y Hostal 230". We really liked our stay and would recommend it to anyone :)
The owners are very friendly and helpful. Even though they are from China there was no problem with communication. A nice advantage is the Chinese breakfast, very good location. The hostel is perfect for the backpacker.
Really amazing for the price. The hosts are very kind and the breakfast is delicious; some fruit, fried veg and rice. They have a Chinese restaurant which is really great value and also delicious, we ate dinner there almost every day we stayed. The location is great too. Would highly recommend!
Great value. Room was definitely moldy but it won’t kill you to stay there a few nights. The Chinese man that owns it is very nice and is willing to help if he can. Location was perfect, a few blocks away from el centro. I could turn off one light in the room but it wasn’t that serious.
This hostal is walking distance to everything! We enjoyed out stay and the owner is super friendly and helpful. He went far and beyond to help me find a shoemaker for my husband's sandals. The owner is building, expanding the rooms and the back is HUGE! It will be amazing when it's done. Please keep in mind this is the owners big dream, he is achieving it, and to have the rooms finished by next year. It wasn't much noices when we stayed for 3 nights. We didn't mind the construction noise that was going on. WE wish him all the best in his dreams of finishing the built by next year. We want to come back for sure!!
